About Moody Brews Memphis
Moody Brews Memphis is a trauma-informed mental health blog and growing community centered around coffee culture, emotional resilience, and honest conversations about burnout, healing, and personal growth.
Created for emotionally exhausted humans navigating anxiety, grief, workplace stress, and everyday survival, Moody Brews blends the warmth of a coffee shop with the kind of mental health conversations that actually feel human.
Here, healing doesn’t have to feel clinical. Sometimes it starts with a quiet moment, a good cup of coffee, and the realization that you’re not the only one trying to figure things out.
The Story Behind Moody Brews
Moody Brews began with a simple observation: some of the most honest conversations about mental health happen over coffee.
The conversations where people finally admit they’re burned out.
The ones where someone says they’re not okay.
The ones where healing begins without judgment.
Moody Brews was created to bring that same atmosphere online: a place where conversations about burnout, trauma-informed healing, emotional resilience, and personal growth can exist without shame or pressure to pretend everything is fine.
Through blog posts, reflections, and community conversation, Moody Brews explores the messy, complicated process of becoming human again.
The long-term vision is to grow Moody Brews into a physical café space in Memphis where coffee, connection, and trauma-informed community can exist together.
Meet the Founders
Moody Brews Memphis was created by Christina Galloway and Kyle Moody, partners who share a vision for building a space where coffee, connection, and trauma-informed care come together.
Christina Galloway is a writer, mental health advocate, and the creator of the Brewed Awakenings reflection series. Her work explores trauma-informed healing, burnout recovery, workplace culture, emotional resilience, and the quiet moments when people realize something in their life needs to change.
Christina writes the reflections and articles that shape the voice of Moody Brews and shares short-form commentary through the Brewed Awakenings TikTok series.

Kyle Moody brings the inspiration behind the coffee culture and community vision of Moody Brews. His love of coffee, atmosphere, and meaningful conversation helped shape the idea of Moody Brews as more than a blog, but as a place where people can gather, slow down, and reconnect.
Together, Christina and Kyle are building Moody Brews as both an online mental health community and a future Memphis café rooted in warmth, conversation, and real human connection.
